Hello Valued Partners, Vendors and Customers
In light of the continued spread of COVID-19 and more recently, the ‘global pandemic’ declaration by the World Health Organization, we at Elizabeth Grant Skin Care are taking precautionary measures and adjusting our operations to ensure the health and safety of our employees, clients, families and the greater community. We will continue to do so as the situation changes. We are making every effort to ensure this situation does not impact the quality of service, quality of manufacturing and the calibre of products that our team and staff provide to our customers and clients.
At Elizabeth Grant Skin Care, we believe it is our role and responsibility during this time to prioritize two things: the health and well-being of our customers and partners while also playing a constructive role in supporting local health officials and government leaders as they work to contain the virus. Through that lens, we will continue to make decisions with vigilance and courage informed by the latest science-based information and guided by our Mission and Values.
At this time our office and manufacturing premises remain open but we are prepared in the event that all or some of our members need to work remotely. At Elizabeth Grant Skin Care, we follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) hygiene and sanitization regulations, but with the heightened concern around the coronavirus (COVID-19), the following additional practices have been implemented:
To protect our internal community, we have enhanced our office sanitation efforts and put policies in place for business and personal travel, events and meetings. We also continue to provide our employees with the most up-to-date health and safety procedures as outlined by Health Canada, Ontario Health Agency and Toronto Public Health.
To protect our manufacturing processes and our external community, we have enhanced and increased the frequency of: our machine sanitation, our component sterilization, and the sanitation of our premises and surface areas as a whole. We use industrial grade sanitization cleaning products on all surfaces (such as doorknobs, tables, chairs, machines etc). All staff must follow, as they always have, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)outlined by Health Canada, which include but are not limited to: wearing medical grade disposable latex gloves at all times while handling any product inside the premises, wearing medical grade disposable protective smocks on their persons while inside the facility, wearing disposable medical grade protective facial masks inside the building. Please note, protective apparel are changed frequently throughout the day.
All staff sanitize their hands with hand sanitizer and wash their hands upon entering the facility as well as multiple times throughout the day at the provided hand sanitizer stations. Staff are advised not touch their faces and to practice safe social distancing. All staff who are sick are told to stay home and seek medical assistance if they have the following symptoms: fever, cough and shortness of breath.  We provide Health and Safety updates like this one via email, on our website and at our facilities.
If anyone of our staff has travelled outside of the country they are on immediate self distancing and are to work from home for the necessary allotted period of time. Carefully following and staying in contact with the citys Health Regulators.  We will adhere to their professional advice and expertise to further prevent and protect our clients and staff from the virus.
